Proposal
Got a surprise from hubby.
Thought he was not going to propose to me since he had gotten me a diamond ring for our 4th anniversary together.
The proposal was pretty simple.
He once asked me few years back,what kind of proposal I wished?
I told him not in the crowd as I do not like getting those kind of attention.
So as we were going Taipei the next day, I did not wear my diamond ring when staying overnight in my future home.
So when he fetch me from work, he asked me why didn't I wear my anniversary ring?
I said usually I don't wear the ring to overseas.
He replied, must wear take the ring with our photoshoot is nice.
So this point I did not suspect anything.
As I forgot to bring my heels for the photoshoot, I went back home to take my heels and also the ring.
Since he already said his reason.
Reach my future home,bathe and I was playing my ipad.
Hubby still busy packing his luggage.
Suddenly the next moment, he have a bouquet of blue roses in his hand and a small box and he proposed to me.
I was stunned and I said yes.
He took out a diamond ring and slipped into my finger.
End of proposal.
He said did I suspect anything or I already know?
Actually I did suspect he was going to buy a diamond ring for me but not so soon.
Cos he feels that I have no reaction as if I already knew.
I was too stunned to have any reaction on me. Haha...

Actual day package with Bridal Affairs
The 2nd time that I went, I tried few more wedding gowns but still could not find the gown I wanted.
So I went home to think again whether I can settle with their off-the-rack gown which will be more cheaper or custom made gown.
Pros and cons between off-the-rack and custom made gown
Pros for off-the-rack
You can see, feel and wear the gown, best if you choose a gown that you like and also cheaper.
Cons for off-the-rack
Many brides may have worn the gown that you choose, but if you do not mind, this point would not bother you.
Sometimes the bridal shop may have new arrivals gowns from off-the-rack,be sure to check with them.
Pros for custom made
The gown will be made to measure accordingly to your body, based on the design you like and fabrics you want.
Since its a brand new gown specially made for you, you will be the first one(the custom made gown will be kept by the bridal shop and let the rest of the brides-to-be to wear as off-the-rack gown after your wedding day) or only one to wear it(the gown will be kept by you as you will buy it but the gown will be much more expensive than the one that is kept by the bridal shop).
Cons for custom made
Risk that the gown may not turned out the way you want.
Based on the fabrics and design you want, the cost will be expensive than off-the-rack.
Since I have done my homework on the types of wedding gown I like.
I went ahead with a custom made gowns and emailed her.
She have a group of seamstress in New York that will custom made the gown for me.
All along I thought her seamstress is in Singapore,was quite surprised they are in New York?
So my next concern was whether my custom made gown will be expensive?After she checked with her seamstress,based on the fabrics and design of the gown, the actual cost of the gown turns out quite reasonable for me after a little discount since I'm taking actual day package with them too.
Upon meeting Christin for the 3rd time,she advise the gown at least takes 3 months to complete, to be on the safe side will be 4 months as they need to ship the gown to Singapore.
If there is any earlier completion of the gown she will call me.
She took my measurement with my bra and heels(I intend to wear on wedding day) and only my underwear on.
Payment of the custom made must be paid in full and for the actual day package, they need you to pay 50% of the package price.
Finally the custom made gown queries is finalised, just waiting to see my gown in about 3-4months time.
